Ticket Redemption Mileage:
Mileage can be used to redeem a free ticket or cabin upgrade.
Member Up-grading mileage:
Mileage that can be used for membership renewal or membership upgrade. Member may thereby enjoy added benefits after membership upgrade.
Member is required to provide his/her membership number when making a reservation or checking in for a flight. The mileage of the flight will be credited into the member's account within three days. Also, Member is recommended to retain his/her flight ticket stubs and boarding passes for six months to check mileage credit on the Mileage Statement, missing credit can be retroactively added upon production and verification of ticket stubs and boarding passes.
* The accumulated mileage credits will be eligible only after the membership has been activated.
Manual:
If a member has not provided his/her membership number before the flight, he/she should fax copies of flight ticket stubs and boarding passes and membership number to the Air Macau Office within 6 months after the departure date:

· The system will take 10 days to verify the passenger's information and complete crediting of the mileage into the Member's account.
Online:
Member can obtain their retroactive miles credit via Air Macau's website retroactive miles credit entering information of the flight flown, and then fax the copies of the ticket stub and boarding pass and membership number to Air Macau's E-Commerce and Loyalty Program Division on (853) 396-5666 (Please remark "retroactive miles credit").
· The system will take 10 days to verify the passenger's information and complete crediting of the mileage into the Member's account.

Should a member selects to post the original copies of ticket stubs and boarding passes for retroactive miles credit, he/she should keep Photostat copies of these documents for reference in case the mail was lost or gone astray.
Note: The only eligible documents for retroactive miles credit are the ticket stubs and boarding passes and no other documents will be accepted for retroactive miles credit.
How to retroact miles credit for travels between 01 Jan 2004 and 31 Jan 2005:
After enrolling to Air Macau's Privileges, as a member, you can either return the ticket stub and boarding pass (original or copy) to Air Macau's Office to retroact credit your mileage gained during this period or retroact credit on-line by 30 June 2005.
Those credits that have been verified as outstanding and unclaimed by 2004 program shall receive the following credit miles:
Economy Class(Booking Class: E/H/L/M/S/T/U/W/X/Y) will obtain 1500 bonus miles for each sector.
Business Class(Booking Class: I/J/Z) may obtain 2000 bonus miles for each sector.
 
The number of credit miles is set against the booking class; different booking class may, for an identical sector, acquire different credit miles:

  • When a Member travels on Business Class (J, I, Z class), the Member will earn 200% of the actual miles flown; when a Member travels on Economy Class (Y, L, W, U, H, M, T, S, E, X, Q class), the Member will earn 100% of actual miles flown.
  • No mileage will be earned for travel on any free ticket or discounted ticket, group ticket, chartered flight ticket, exchange coupon etc.

  • The above tabulated air distances are referenced from IATA Great Circle Miles, to which Air Macau reserves the right to amend whenever it feels necessary.
  • Each sector is guaranteed a minimum of 500 miles credit. Any flown sector falls short of 500 miles will get 500 miles credit.

    Note:
    1. Type of redemption selected in any one sector is mutually exclusive. For instant, a Member cannot choose to redeem a free ticket and apply for cabin upgrade at the same time in any one sector.
    2. Ticket redemption and cabin upgrade are subject to the availability of seats allocated for that purposes.
    3. Any type of redemption does not apply to members traveling on free ticket or discounted tickets, group tickets, chartered flight tickets, exchange coupons, redeemed ticket etc. For instant, member traveling on a group ticket cannot redeem cabin upgrade with credit miles.
